All examination courses follow the same timetable as the General
English Intensive course (30 lessons / 23¼ per week). All students enquiring about examinations courses
must complete our online
Placement Test and write a composition so that we can ensure you
follow the best course for your level.
The courses are designed for students wanting to do
Cambridge
First Certificate in English (FCE),
and the
International English Language Testing System (IELTS). The
courses cover the key language, reading, listening, speaking, writing and examination
skills necessary to pass the exams.
We have a good pass rate in examinations - 80 per cent of our
students passed their chosen exams. Our teachers
are experienced in teaching exam classes and work closely together
under the guidance of our Examinations Co-ordinator . This ensures
that you will have the best possible opportunity to succeed in your
chosen examination.
If you need more than 12 weeks to prepare for an examination please consider
our Academic Year
Programme which also includes the price of one examination course. This will give you a good foundation in General English before you start your examination course.
In 2012 the course dates are:
Upper Intermediate (FCE) Level
- January 3 to March 9 (10 weeks).
- March 19 to June 8 (12 weeks).
- September 17 to December 7 (12 weeks).
