General English Overview

Professional English

Courses from 1 - 4 weeks designed for people who need to improve their English language skills for their work. The morning component is a general English for business programme, covering the key communicative grammar needed to use English confidently in the workplace. Participants doing Professional English join a General English class in the afternoon.

Business English

Courses from 1 - 4 weeks focus on the language and specialised business skills needed in job-related situations - giving presentations, attending meetings, telephoning and negotiating.

The course combines a small Professional English class in the mornings (15 hours per week) with 8¼ hours of essential business skills work in the afternoons (view timetable).

Executive English

Courses from 1 - 4 weeks designed for people with experience of the business world who want to focus specifically on their personal job and training requirements with their own individual trainer.

The course combines a small Professional English class in the mornings (15 hours per week) with personal tuition options in the afternoons focusing on specific job and training requirements (view timetable). Alternatively clients can choose either 24 or 30 hours of personal tuition.

Executive English Overview

  • Professional English class size 4 - 6 (5 - 8 from June 16 - September 12).
  • 4½ , 9, 15, hours of personal tuition in the afternoon.

Academic Year Programme

A budget learning programme for students who want to spend 26 or more weeks in England.

Academic Year students join a General English Intensive course or a Cambridge Examination course according to their level and the time of year they start. The timetable is the same as General English Intensive and Examination English (view timetable).

Academic Year Programme Overview

  • Elementary - advanced level (no beginners).
  • Includes a two-week hoilday break.
  • Advice and support to help you continue your studies at a British university or college.

Cambridge Examination English

6, 9 and 12 week examination courses start in January, March, September, October and November. Courses follow the same timetable as the General English Intensive course - 23¼ per week including two 50 minute optional lessons per week.

The courses are designed for students wishing to do FCE, CAE and IELTS examinations.

Personal Learning Programmes

Flexible learning programmes combining General English class in the morning (15 hours) with 4½ or 9 hours of personal tuition.
